If you have read The Odyssey and Bless Me Ultima...?

Question

Do you know what any recurring motifs are in those book? Apparently there are motifs that are similar and motifs that are different to each other, but I'm not exactly sure what they are.

Anyone have a hint for me?

The Odyssey:
Hubris aka arrogance leading to down fall, need to know ones destiny, hospitality, Revenge, Endurance, Moral conflicts.

It's been a long time since I read either of those books. A motif is something that comes up again and again, connected with meaning in some way. Often motifs are connected with characters or ideas that are happening at that point in the story. Look for elements or phrases that come up again and again in the context of the same characters or events.
