The stompin the Pats are going to put up on the (Shula) Dolphins could be historic. I think Miami is horrible and the D is old and slow, I would not be surprised to see a 100 pt Pat score. Probably 10 TDs for the Offense and 6 for the Defense.

Back in the 1989 an undefeated Washington Redskin team 8-0 faced off against a winless 0-8 Cowboys team and lost and would be their only loss and Dallas's only win. Miami knocked off an undefeated Chicago Bears tam for their only loss as well back in the year they beat the snot out of new england for the Super Bowl.

I doubt it that they will win, but anything is possible they are all professional and it may be enough to give them enough of an emotional high to over come their talent and beat the Pats. Don't give up on your team even when they are playing the best, there is always that chance they can make that one win a huge one and one to remember.

It really would be a dubious distinction if this team ended up being 0-16. That would be the first time a team has gone winless since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did it in 1977. The reason it would be especially significant in the case of the Miami Dolphins is that this is so far the only NFL team that got a perfect 17-0 season.

It definitely would be weird but only disastrous to Patriot fans. Dolphin fans would go nuts and Shula would probably have an orgasm . That's what makes football such a great sport , anything can happen . A lot (not all) of Patriot fans are coming across as very arrogant and that sure would bring them back to earth .

Not sure how that would be disastrous...guess if you are a Pats fan.

You should call the Bears and ask them how they managed to lose to lowly Dolphins teams?

As bad as the Fins are, this is the game the Pats should fear the most...

And I only say that based on history.

I think the Pats probably have nothing to worry about...but you never know.... Maybe it is a run Ricky run day, all day long...

That wouldn't be weird...it would be rediculous. The only way that would happen is if the Patriots rested their starters for the playoffs and played their 3rd stringers. By the time the Patriots face Miami again, they will have already cliched their division and home field advantage throughout...but likely they will go for being undefeated if the opportunity is there.

The Dolphins are going to win, and it will be fun to watch.

That's one way to make the gambling houses in Vegas go nuts. Can you imagine the investigations that would ensue? Some mobster would get rich...or idiot.
