I am meeting a cousin that I never met before from my dads side ( i do not have communication with my father) she is from Hawaii and coming to California. She is coming to Los Angeles Airport (LAX) she asked me that she will like to meet that day she gets here in the morning. The thing is that I don't know where to take care to talk or hang out she is coming with her boyfriend and well I don't know if I should take mine.

So my question is

should I take my boyfriend?
Where could we go to (eat, drink, walk) ?

I have no idea where to take her and what to do HELP!!!!

Im adopted and have recently met some of my biological relatives for the first time.

One thing that helped was by taking one of my children or my boyfriend along. It also helped to meet the first time in a public place.

One doesnt want meetings like this to be heavy or emotional. Try to make them fun and enjoyable.

If your boyfriend makes you feel more comfortable, I would take him with you.

You didn't say how long she's going to be there with you for.

Some ideas if she'll be there several days: Disneyland, Universal Studios, the beach, Hollywood.

If she's only there for the day: Go find a fun restaurant near the airport or near where she's staying and just grab something to eat and talk.

If hers is with her, take your bf. Just take them site seeing, and stop by for lunch or dinner at a unique place. They are in town to see a new place, something different, so make it interesting. Do things that are unique to Los Angeles. Try checking out some brochures in a local hotel. They usually have plenty of tourist ideas in them.

yes, take your boyfriend. and maybe go rollerskating or bowling or ice skating. it may sound kiddish but its a fun way to get to knoe each other. maybe hang out at the mall and get some pizza and do some shopping even if you dont buy anything maybe play some mini golf like i said this is kiddish but it lets everyone get to know eachother in a goofy kind of way so you can see if their funny, shy, happy etc. more fun than the movies

it's a good idea! you should take your boyfriend.
and you go to those places that you think you will enjoy also.
you can also ask your cousin and her boyfriend what are their interest so that you will not be awkard to introduce those places. have a wonderful day to four of you!
