goes to a strip club with his friends for fun?

Is it the money spent? The idea of another woman turning him on? They assume he'll cheat? What's the real deal?

Kittykat: Do you think it's possible for a man to never lust for another woman again as long as he lives, after signing the marriage contract?

Kaualani: I'm sorry about your experience, by the way you described it, it was a pretty traumatic one for you. I'm assuming it's kind of hard to not look at a stripper while they're in your face though.

For me it all depends on how I'm feeling about ME. If I am feeling like an unattractive blob (don't we all have those days?) then I'm more likely to feel insecure that he's going. There are times however when it doesn't bother me at all.

After having been married for 21 years, been one who enjoyed the night life and clubbing when I first met hubby all though not at a club....had invited him many times to go bar hopping with me and he said it's not his thing......I gave it up and said ok cool...lets do something else......spent half the day preparing a nice roast beef dinner....was asked by him if I wanted something from the store since he and his friend was going to get a 12 pack of beer....said ok...get me a pepsi.........the store is'nt even a 5 minute drive up the road neither are the strip clubs....2 hrs later....they were not back!! Found him in a strip club...after having gone there the first time and only found his friend who claimed hubby didnt want to leave the other strip club which I checked but couldnt find him...mind you we live in a small city...its about 11pm...the roads are pretty much empty as well as the parks...no sign of hubby until like I said..I went back to that other club....he claimed he was'nt watching the stripper all because she happened to be dancing to the right side on stage.... I found him sitting at a table with his friend about 3 feet away...he happened to be looking to the front rather then to the side. So he said he was'nt watching the stripper. Hmm, what's the big deal you ask? That's pretty much the cherry on our cake! I want a new flavor....sick of his bull!! I felt disrespected in a lot of ways. Now I dont care what he does, where he goes, who he screws! He's not screwing me anymore! And he can keep everything when I leave his sorry A@@! ☺
Wow!! that felt good to let it out! Thank you for giving me this opportunity! lol Peace!! ☺

I don't mind. Really, I don't. I know my husband, and I trust him. If he gets turned on by some stripper, so what? He's coming home to me. He's not exactly out there having babies with someone else. Besides, if he went, it would be for laughs with his friends, not alone. I think if he was heading out there alone evey night that would be problematic. But he did not cease being a guy when he said "I do". As long as he doesn't blatantly ogle other women in front of me, we're fine. He can look all he wants other than that.

I don't think any two women would agree on or for a single reason yet they all feel either uncomfortable , falsely unconcerned or threatened by the situation though Girl friends can afford to be more generous than wives, with lesser stake in the relationship. It's a kind of a worry or a fear of the unknown for all of them.Surprisingly, ground reality is just the opposite.

For me, it's more the fact that despise the whole industry.

I feel as though his support of it goes against some things that I strongly believe in, so it would be nearly equal to him being mean to an old lady or doing drugs on a regular basis.

So no, it's not insecurity that drives me, but more a hope that he respects my beliefs. However, there' s difference between a bachelor party and a random night on the town for no reason...

There are probably many reasons, but I think that they may be linked to one common factor, which is fear.
The spotlight being on another woman, even if momentarily, replacing the focus from her (partner) to the exotic dancer, that he may possibly find the dancer sexier, more attractive or appealing... fear of losing his interest.

Much of the possessiveness that we humans feel may stem from fear of losing something that gives us some sort of significance, perhaps that is somewhat related to the insecurity in women, of a male partner looking at an exotic dancer.
Obviously, you know by the kind of relationship that I had with my ex that I had no objections, and neither did he when I'd go with my girlfriends.

My question is is why do people think you're just trying to make your man happy if you ARE a girl that likes to go to strip clubs?

I genuinely enjoy strip clubs. I don't like it when people assume that I'm just doing it to make a guy happy. I like to look at an attractive stripper, so why can't my significant other do the same?

I got turned off when an ex said "I just go to strip clubs to make fun of the strippers." Um, how can you not get turned on by seeing naked women? I would be highly concerned that my man doesn't get turned on by naked women.

Women who let there men go to the strip club have trust in them and know that a man will be a man. He going to go with his buddies regardless. Whether he tells you or not, so since it is sort of a male bonding place just like Sunday mornings watching the Nfl just let it happen whether you acknolwlegde it or not. Most women ,though have very low self esteem when it come to there bodies so the thought of another woman showing hers off so openly makes it even worse. Like im not going to lose my man to some strip teasing bimbo. Just let it go. If you loose him it wasnt meant to be. He didnt want you anyways. Or hey buy a pole and put it int the basement for fun.

I think in some / most cases, the man keeps the "strip club" a secret....for me at that point its not the naked women, its the "lying" about your whereabouts that would get me mad. I dont mind him going at all, in fact to be honest, lets "use" that energy later on... ; ) ... There could be residual benefits from my man going to a strip joint.

Hmmm well. I might be a bit peeved as I'm not the woman I used to be. But what can a wife do? If she gets all huffy and starts trying to control her husband, then he'll feel stifled and visiting a strip-club isn't actual infidelity so the best thing to do is to give him his freedom but as long as he gives you the same freedom to visit a club with friends yourself.

Eh it can be touchy.

For me it's like... don't throw your money at some other girl, if ya wanna throw some money I'll shake my a s s in something sexy and you give me the money LoL.

I know my hubby is loyal so it's not cheating. My main concern is, my hubby is in the military and has a lot of single friends that get a little crazy. The town outside of where I am isn't the nicest place and I just don't want him breaking up a fight that one of his buddies might get into and something happening to him. Living on an Army post... there are like 20 strip clubs and bars right outside the gates and a lot of them are pretty sleazy. I mean I know there are upscale places... just not the ones here

It's kinda funny though... my hubby doesn't even really want to go anyway. Thank god I dont need to worry about that
