I was there!!- I remember Joe Strummer almost falling off the stage, and Bono climbing the lighting scaffold- U2 was like 8th on the bill behind Stray Cats, Men at Work, the Clash, etc. Metal day was insane- I heard that day was the largest rock festival in history.
