I just bought bought the belkin n router now i also have a linksys wireless g adaptor will they work together do i have to configure it or what do i have to do, plaease give me instructions or any knowledge u have about my question

They are compatible. You will need to follow thei nstructions in the router manual to set it up. Use the web based interface, not the disk as it often fails. Once you have a working wireless configuration always set WPA or 128 bit WEP encryption for your own protection.

They work together, just pretend they are from the same make they all adhere to standard so they just work together.

There are few settings that must match on both router and adapter. SSID be the most important to match, for testing and configuration purpose disable all encryptions for now.

Yes they will work. N is backwards compatible, but since you only have a "G" card, it won't take advantage of the higher speeds. Just configure it like you normally do when you connect to an access point.

They are standards a,b, g, n

n is backward compatible with g, and b. So your new router will work like a charm with your g adapter.
