I tried skydiving once. It was a tandem jump. That means I was attached to the front of the guy who had the parachute. I didn't like it, and I was scared I would come loose from that guy. We jumped from 14000 feet. It was very cold up there even though it was a warm summer day. And, we did a free fall for a minute. When I first left the plane, it felt like a roller coaster hill with my stomach being left behind. After a few seconds that feeling disappeared. But, we were free falling, and it created a powerful cold, wind in my face. I did not like it. When he opened the chute, it felt like I was being pulled upwards. And, the guy I was attached to then did tricks like spinning us around. I did not like that. The only part I liked was when we were a few hundred feet up. I guess that is what paragliding is like. That part was fun as we steered the chute to find a landing place. So, maybe I should take up paragliding.
