Is it because they just can't keep their legs closed in an endless search for their next "money honey" or "baby's daddy"? Terrible epidemic in America. Much more disease floating around with singlemoms than with all the street hookers combined!

I think this is a kind of wrong opinion. It is true that some divorced singlemoms got the std in their search for their next "money honey" or "baby's daddy" but we can't equate them the all the divorced singlemoms. I meet many female friends on a site called positivesingles.com. They are divorced singlemoms. Some of them say they got the std before they divorced.

WOW! I've never heard of this. I'm a single mother and have never (knock on wood) had anything. I go to the doctor once a year, OBGYN, and most tests, you have to request. I request them. Maybe the women just don't know that the majority of STDs don't show symptoms and they don't know that you have to request certain testing?

Don't know where you get your statistics but I have never had anything. After my divorce I wasn't with a guy for over 2 years. Don't lable so many. And I don't need any guy to take care of me and my kids I do awesome on my own.
