Well, if Glavine re-signs and Hampton has a halfway decent comeback, their starting pitching is set with Chuck James as the 5th starter. I think they need to re-sign Ron Mahay to be one of the set-up men for Soriano. Since they have power hitters such as Texeira, Chipper Jones, and Jeff Francouer, getting Coco Crisp or Mark Kotsay to play center field makes sense. They need someone who doesn't mind getting walks ahead of the big boppers.

They need to get an owner who doesn't mind a high payroll. As it is, they won't be able to keep guys once they hit the late arbitration years and free agent years. With the current ownership and payroll limitations, they will never never never make the playoffs 13 years in a row again. Or even close to that.
