I don't believe that John Holmes could compete with today's stars. The male stars of today for the most part have brains, bodies, and talent. I don't believe that pornography brings out the beauty and masculinity in males; therefore, John Holmes falls far short of being a star. I doubt that many people found him to be no more than a novelty - much like Ron Jeremy.
