So the question is do you make friends right away, or does it take time for them to get to know you and to like you?

Well, I'm rather shy and actually have to force myself to say hi, how you doing. So it takes a while to make friends, but once I feel comfortable with you and you with me I start coming out of my shell. This process has become somewhat easier as I get older. Maturity does change a person in quite a few ways.

YES , i most certainly do! I'm with you, Purr Girl...everyone is always comfy with me, but i am a Counselor, so...i was born that way, i guess. My Daddy always said , "To know me is to love me"

Huggliez, and have the best Thanksgiving you have ever had! My youngest was born on Thankxgiving Day, my ONLY son!!! After 3 daughters....WOW.........well.....four, my last daughter, right before him, died in my arms. My heart still bleeds for her, but then HE came along. He is so lovely and beautiful, His sweet adoring eyes just look up at me so full of love and admiration , how could anyone NOT love this precious bundle of energy???
He is eight, going on twenty-eight. teehee
Seriously, he knows more than i did, on some things , at 18, i think.....sad, huh??? whew!!!!!!!!!

No,it is me who is very choosy, i take a lot of time to choose a friend.I study the person very well before i become friendly to and if i find that the person is my kind only then i choose him as my friend.

Yes I make friends fairly easy. I'm easy to get to know, and I can be outgoing if I choose to.

It's really weird with me; I seem to make friends INSTANTLY with people. I have a lot of empathy and I love to listen to people if they want someone to listen to them. People have told me that they are automatically comfortable with me, even though we have never met; just online or on the phone!

I'm a Libran and i make friends easily.Making friends right away doesn't mean you have to like them immediately.

No, I say stupid things and I'm not cute/pretty.
Unfortunately there have been studies showing that we naturally trust people more who are pretty/nice looking (not hot, there's a difference). So, it takes longer for me to gain people's trust, which makes it take longer to become their friends.
And once again, I really due tend to say idiotic things.

i make friends pretty quick but it takes me a while to become good friends with them
