Do you remember a corny joke your mom/dad used to tell you as a kid?

And even though it's corny, everytime you think of it it makes you smile/laugh?

for me, when I was a kid, everytime I said "oh mannnn", my mom would reply "oh womannnn" in a really teasing way and it still makes me laugh!

when we were younger if we said hey my dad would say hay is for horse and we are people so call us by our name.

I lived with my grandparents when I was young and my grandmother was a stay at home mom. When I was 5 or 6 y/o and I saw her getting ready to leave the house; I would ask her where she was going. She would say with a smile, " I'm going up Mike's and down Jake's, chasing coffee cakes, wanna come along?".

I would always say yes and then go with her where ever she was going.

My mom tried to not curse around us as kids. She used to say 'Democrat' or 'Republican' instead of a curse word. For a while I thought they were real curse words. lol.
