LOL. So I'll go with that.
It's really hard to single out just one tune, when there were
several good good songs they did."California Dreamin" came to mind right away. I'd think that was their greatest hit.
It's too bad that Cass died. It's no telling how much bigger a success they would have become if they'ed been able to remain a group.

Not a fan of either of them but California Dreaming is probably the best song by Mamas and Papas.
I change the station when CCR comes on.

My favorite Mama and Papas song was 'Dedicated to the One I Love'.
I love CCR, they had so many great songs, one of my favorites is "Have You Ever Seen The Rain".

It has got to be California Dreaming. My fave CCR song is Midnight Special and Coming Around the Bend. Now I gotta get my album out and play my greatest hits. See what you did? lol

I loved The Mamas and Papas. They were one of the best of the whole era.Probably my two favorites were "Creeque Alley" and "I Call Your Name".
As for CCR - "Proud Mary"
