Do you have the ability to kill somebody?

I think I can if I have to but does everybody have the ability to?

Well not everyone has the morals or the actual soul to be able to preform such a task.

Others don't have the moral to do it but if its in a situation that it must be done then they can.

Others like police officers can kill people as a line of work and are trained to do it if it comes to that circumstance.

And finally we have the ravage serial killers who can kill anyone any time anywhere.

So i would say this question would be better phrased, as does anyone have the ethics or the state of mind to be able to kill someone if they had too. Because everyone can kill someone if they wanted to, a pull of a trigger would kill someone, putting poison in their food, etc. Anyone can do this but its if you have the heart to be able to do it.

I believe each person has a breaking point at which point they will kill someone.

I believe that if pushed hard enough I could do something violent. Now, I'm 54 years old and I have never hit someone else. I had a horribly abused childhood and made some decisions even as a child that I wouldn't be like the ones who abused me. I decided to kill myself rather than hurt someone else. So, if pushed really hard I'd kill myself.

UNLESS someone was threatening to or had hurt my family, especially my daughters. I'm not sure just how violently I would respond. I'm glad I haven't had to find out.

Some boys sent my youngest daughter some sexually harassing e-mails. When I found out, within one hour, I'd spoken to her schools principal, the counselors office and the local police. I took care of things very fast. The boys got into big trouble.

I'm very gentle, but if someone awakens the sleeping lion in me, look out.

I think that everybody deep down inside have the ability to kill. I think if it is a life threatening situation. But to answer your question about me if I could do it... Yes if I had no choice.

I think that I could under the right circumstances. If I thought that my children were in danger of being killed or seriously hurt by someone and the way to save them was to kill someone I might be able to. For any other reason No I know that I couldn't.

At times, (I'm not crazy) there are certain situations where you could imagine yourself killing someone, e.g. at knife point, gun point, home invasion etc. But can you really bring yourself to do it? Hm. I think most people who kill eachother do it when they have an animalistic state of mind, in rage or desperation. But if say, you were holding a gun aimed at someones head, the thought of ending someone's life is quite terrifying, erasing their existence, and breaking the connections with all other humans who know that person. Ack. In, that case, I probably couldn't bring myself to do it.

I could not.. I can't see my self ending with the life of a human being. I always say that if I find myself in danger and I will get killed if I don't act, then I would kill first, but to tell you the truth, I just don't know, and hope to never find out.

I think everyone has that ability in them if given the right circumstances. The fight or flight response of the body gives us that choice.

When it comes to kill or be killed I think we could all have the capability to do so. I used to think I could kill for my children but I believe in karma and that outa take care of that persons wrong doings!

EVERYONE has the ability. The question is will they draw on that ability if the situation arises...........
