I mean as if you watched them write, if you could tell by strokes or something. Not a matter of neatness.

Judging by my example, I'd say "No."

I consider myself and excellent sketch artist, but my causal handwriting is practically illegible. In fact, I cannot read my OWN handwriting a day or so after putting it down.

On the other hand, I do passible calligraphy and fairly neat sign painting.

I think the disparity between my handwriting scrawl, and my neat printing skills may have to do with the idea that, when writing, I am applying language skills, and not giving any thought to neat presentation. But, when doing caligraphy or typography, I am thinking of each character as a "picture" of a letter, rather than as a component of language.

Actually it seems like most people have horrible handwriting that are good drawers, lol.

But this isn't always the case. I wouldn't say I'm a terrible handwriter. My quick writing is readable and I can write neatly when I want. And I'm a good drawer. :P

EDIT: As for how they actually write, I would say you probably can't tell. But maybe you can. Everyone says I hold a pen funny. >:
