They instinctively dislike getting wet.
But, some cats learn to tolerate a little wetness out of necessity, or to get what they want.
Some cats will fish by putting a paw into water and getting a fish out.
I have seen a cat putting her paw into a cup of milk, licking the milk off, and putting it in again. It was considerate of the cat not to spill the milk.
Many outdoor cats learn to tolerate rain and wet ground to some extent, but they don't like it. I have seen cats walking on wet cement, shaking each paw as they lift it from the wet ground, before putting it down again. It doesn't slow them down too much.

my cat not likes sitting on the side of the tub catching the water droplets and then gets into the tub to drink the water. my old cat she use to sit in the sink even when we would wash our hands and she would let herself get wet. it didn't matter to her. but getting washed with soap and stuff they arn't really fond of i would say. ive gotten some pretty big scratches to prove it haha.. but i find even big cats dont enjoy it that much either, i was at the zoo couple months back and these 3 tigers had a massive playing ball and as one was playing with it, it rolled into their man made pond (probably about 5 feet wide 7 feet long and like 2 feet deep) and all three tigers looked at the ball for the longest time nudging each other trying to get the others to get the ball it was quite funny and cute. got lots of pics of it. one eventually went in but the others didn't want anything to do with the water.

so i think it just depends on the cat. cats are oh soo high and mighty in their own eyes they dont like getting their fur messed up i think haha

i'm not a hundred% valuable yet there are some enjoyed ones cats that particularly love water. merely look on youtube! lol I fairly have a cat that likes to play in water and is proof against punishment by ability of ability of 'water gun' by using fact he likes it. I fairly have had and been around many cats and he's the only one that looks to appreciate play with water, yet they do in fact exist. fairly, wild large cats including lions, at the instant are not well-known for being in love with water the two. in case you have been to objective and submerge one in water for a bathtub working example, probability is fairly extreme that they could merchandise, strongly! Wild cats are greater probably to attitude water for the reason that's of their organic atmosphere and that they are greater used to it. they are around oceans and could stay out in unexpected downpours of rain especially circumstances, so that's something that they settle for as element of existence notwithstanding it does not unavoidably mean that's their 'cup of tea'. large question!

In general I would say yes. I find that felines really do have their own individual personalities so some might not mind water.
