do i need to change my case me computer is hp m8000n . do i need to change my case or add more fans ? or i dont have to change nothin ???plz help thanks

1. You may have to upgrade power supply. 8800GT itself is a 110 watter. It draws almost 10 amps on the +12V rail of power supply.

2. You need better case ventilation. The 110W of heat will be dissipated inside the case. If you can add intake or exhaust fans, that would be good. Otherwise, your alternative would be stronger but potentially noisier fans. A PC case with good ventilation (from not so noisy 120mm fans) could be an option too.

Depends on two factors.

1: Does the card fit inside the case? If not, get a new one, and make sure it fits (mid-tower should suffice).

2: Does the case allow air to circulate properly? A graphics card can run really hot, so watch out. If it runs on only two 80mm fans in a compact case, change it! Or you'll be paying for a new card down the track.
