i sometimes do that, specially for my contacts when i catch the question too late and can't add something new.

I'll star a question and not answer it if someone has answered they same way I would, or if I think the question is interesting or funny but I don't have an answer,

Sometimes if I really want to know the answer or the question asks something out of the ordinary, I'll star it even though I didn't answer it.

A question can pique your interest, but you may not have a very good answer for it. Starring it allows other people to see it on your profile so that they might check it out and answer it or comtemplate it.

I always wonder that too!! I have done it before cause I thought it was interesting but, didn't know an answer. But, I get it all the time, and I look for their answer ansd none! LOL
