why doesent liberal America like Condi Rice, or Colin Powell..........but yet they like Obama?

Condi Rice, although classy and intelligent, hasn't done anything that made a difference for the better. I don't think she is presidential material. Colin Powell had the respect of many people of both parties and probably should have run for president at some point before the Iraq war.

I'm very liberal, and I really dislike Condi Rice and Colin Powell because they supported the war with Iraq. I don't like everything about Obama, but I do like that he has consistently opposed the same war.

I like Colin Powell! I think he would make a great President and probably win by a landslide. However he is not running!!
As for liberal not liking Colin Powell, it wasn't the liberals attacking him when he advised president Bush not to go into war against Iraq!!
As for Condilize Rice, not a fan of hers. Bush has been known to put inept people in place they don't deserve to be.

Condi is a GW gopher and a lackie placed in a position she was never qualified for, figures she must have some dirt on GW.

Use to respect Colin until his performance at the UN over the Iraq WMD fiasco. Especially now when we know Colin and Tennet both knew the info was bogus before they went to the UN.

Well Obama hasn't embarrassed himself the way those two did (to the point where Condi got a very public bitchslapping for being ignorant from the President of the Philippines and was snubbed by the pope - he wouldn't even meet with her) while representing America.

Because they can't stand seeing a african american person being happy where they are. They thrive off the racial tension Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson create when they can't find any. If a black man was running for presidency on no taxes and strong foreign policy and no gay marriage, liberals would have his head. It's all about the ideology. Without tension, liberals have no platform.

I like Powell, but not Rice and I'm not sure about Obama..I'm a liberal...I like politicians that work for the people....I always liked Powell even when he was at the UN giving his speeches...I actually trusted him...it turned out that he was duped and then he resigned...I respect him....Condi is a Bush stooge and Obama is an unknown...it's not about race even though you want it to be

Liberal America liked Colin Powell right up until he tried to sell the war in Iraq at the U.N., pitching information he knew to be untrue.

Condi Rice is a lap dog for the Worst President Ever, and she spends her days advocating a horrible failed foriegn policy. That really costs her points in the eyes of liberal America. Great pianist, however.

I guess you're looking at it from a racial standpoint since they're all black. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Condi is terrible in her position. She doesn't really do anything. She doesn't really make diplomatic progress. She just flies to places and takes pictures. Colin Powell is a fine General. A lot of people don't like him because as Secretary of State he was one of the people who made the case for war with Iraq. People saw him as a credible source when he went to the U.N. with "pictures" as proof of Iraq's WMD's. Those items we saw in the pictures were never found.

Obama is a likable guy despite what people think of his political views.
