i don't think it's awkward. i think some cartoon characters are hot,even way hotter than real actors movie makers cast in when making these cartoons into movies. and that's the problem. many moviemakers can't cast in real actors that would come close to the animated ones.

for example, producers are looking to cast in actors for the Justice League of AMerica movie. if you watch JLA animated series you'll see that Bruce Wayne is really hot, not even Christian Bale or the other actors who played him can come close. I also wonder if they can find a counterpart for Shayira or Hawkgirl. She's so hot. :)

Well, there are cartoon characters that look hot and sexy like Ms Betty Boop and Jessica Rabbit. Maybe they just appreciate them and it doesn't look awkward at all to me.

what's so awkward about that? it's about as realistic as having a crush on a celebrity; it'll never go anywhere, but it doesn't hurt to think it! i think Link from the Zelda games is pretty sexy.
