He keeps asking me why Im giving up and if we are really breaking up .
You'd think after him dumping me every weekend for the past 6 months that he'd be OK with me leaving .

When my wife and I parted, I never once asked her if she was really leaving. I know her, when she says something, that's exactly what she meant and she will follow it through. Only once, did I ask her to come home, but I wasn't trying to keep things going in hope that it wasn't really over, I was trying to start over. Didn't work. Now, I live in a sailboat sailing a couple thousand miles to start a new life on the Easter Coast.

OMG! Do we have the same ex? I'm going thru the same exact thing. He calls like 17 times a day asking when he can come home. Ummm, you CAN'T! Is it really that hard to understand??? Too little too late! And I don't know about you but all that just pisses me off even more, so he sure as hell isn't helping his situation any!

Many, but it's because we are both unsure. I think your situation is different; you seem sure which is good. I wish there was a test to know for sure who the right person is.
