I am wondering what other people do when they go to a guests house.

My sisters boyfriend when coming over to my house ALWAYS parks in the the driveway. I think it's rude.

So, do you or do you not park in someone elses driveway?

But we have a sidewalk and there is plenty of room to park his car.

I still think it's rude.

I never do unless I have been told previously to do so. I also think it is rude to presume the spot for yourself.

If my car leaks oil or other fluids, then I wouldn't park in their driveway. I always try to park in a hosts driveway, that way there isn't a lot of cars parked on the street and blocking the neighbors driveways or making it difficult to navigate the street. I try to do this a courtesy to their neighbors.

In our subdivision, there are rules about parking on the street, your driveway needs to be full before street parking is allowed. The rule is not enforced, for the most part, unless someone really abuses the rule.

good luck.

Yes, I would. I think it's rude to park in the grass. Some places you can park on the street, but parking with all 4 tires on the street is just stupid on my street. That only leaves the driveway, and lo and behold, that's what it was made for.

we have a drive way and when people come over they park in it and i also feel its rude because there is enough parking on the side where i live unless there is absolute no parking any where else i understand otherwise it is rude!
