By your defintion, yes. But if we had stuff like The Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, 2Pac, Nas, Common, Rage Against the Machine, and Eminem as examples...then no...you're actually listening to some good hip-hop. My friend listens to a lot of hip-hop, but not the radio stuff. Here's just a few:
MF Doom/Madvillain
De La Soul
Wu-Tang Clan
A Tribe Called Quest
Public Enemy
Eric B & Rakim
Just to name a few...there are just a few good mainstream rap acts, but if you're still talkign about Soulja Boy and Lil Jon...then yes, you're screwed.

lol kinda.. it does give me a huge headache and then i develop this temporary speech impairment and can't put together sentences properly. but it wears off in an hour or two. i just have to start listening to something that has more educated words and more meaning to it like ROCK. lol
and the only reason i would be listening to rap anyways is because im either in a friends car or over there house and all they have is rap(cus im the only rocker in my group of friends) so i have no choose but the hear the dreadful music. (ha but in my house and my car all they will hear is rock =D
