Maybe you could try picking actors that tend to speak slowly, like James Stewart. Also, older films might be better - things were slower then and less special effects and lines might have made more sense. Also, maybe try looking for dvds and tv shows about learning English. Good luck with it.

Two suggestions. Get the movies or TV shows on DVD. You can backspace the scene again and again until you understand it. You may lose the continuity of the movie, but you are trying to improve your English.
The second would be read a lot of books.

Watch talk shows or PBS shows, they talk slower and its a lot easier to understand. Sitcoms and comedy shows are no good for learning English. Certainly don't watch Jerry Springer.
If you use closed caption you can look at the words while they say it which will help you to understand easier. Good luck.

Record it and watch it again then you can figure it out. Or add closed captioning through your menu so you can read it too.
