They could be infected, or she could be allergic to the ear rings themselves. Get her looked at just to be sure!

Sounds like your doing everything you should be doing. The only thing I would suggest is to loosen them up a tad. They may be to tight and that is what is causing them to be irritated.
Just wanted to add that I had my daughters ears pierced when she was just a few months old. She has done great with them! A lot of people will ask why you did them so young but I think its best that way... they will not play with them or tug at them. If she decides later in life that she does not want them she can always take them out! Girls look adorable with their ears pierced! What girl doesn't want them done.

A little bit of puss is normal, so long as it is clear or whitish, if it is yellowish or greenish it is infection. Also, if there is any redness or tenderness they are infected. If there are ANY signs of infection, take her to the pediatrician. They'll take them out and give her some antibiotics to clear things up.
I'm concerned with what you say about them being "tight"...Do you mean that you can't turn them? or just that the back is stuck on good? If you can't turn them, take her to the doctor, they could grow into her ear and have to be cut out. If the back is just stuck on, let them be for now. It is better that way, since she is so young.

Your daughter may well be fussy for a quick time top after her ears are pierced, yet could desire to be decrease back to common interior a jiffy. provide her a bottle and positioned her down for a snooze as quickly as possible after her ears are pierced and he or she could desire to be common while she wakes up. Piercing her ears shouldn't reason a fever, yet her ears may well be heat, fairly purple and fairly swollen for an afternoon or 2.

that sounds normal for any peircing but dont you think she was to little to be putting holes in her? she may not want them done? only you did? you would have been better off waiting till she is old enough to make up her own mind wether she wanted them doing or not. and if you want to take them out there was no need to do them then eh?? they are prob tight cas her ear would have swollen up a little but that usually go down, you'll know if there is anything wrong because they will start to smell..

If they aren't hurting try to gently clean her little ear-lobes with a cotton tip dipped in a gentle antibacterial antiseptic lotion, make sure you also try to wipe the little earring too. it is probably just a little irritation - sometimes happens from baby soaps and shampoos - it should go away soon.

Take the earrings out. Soak the earlobe with a hot washcloth to see if you can wiggle them out. Better yet... take her to her pediatrician so they can assist... and make sure she doesn't have a small infection.
For gods sake... can't you wait until she's old enough to decide for herself? I'm not being mean... I just don't understand what's the rush. My mother got mine done at the age of 5 while I was kicking and screaming.... and you know what? I should have had the right to make that decision for myself.

It's normal. Just keep cleaning them & rotate them daily so that they won't get stuck. Good luck! =)
