Everyday when you walk out of your house, what are the things that just make your day so worthwhile? Is it seeing kids, or going shopping, or is it just simply knowing that you get to experience another day? Please share with me. Maybe once I know these things, I might notice them more, which could make me so much happier. Thanks!

Anything regarding my son. His smile, his laughter, his voice, the way he speaks, anything and everything about him.

Watching my girls walk to the bus stop together. Knowing that they are still at the age where they like school and soak up the learning. Also knowing that when my hubby leaves for the day I have a little time to myself to just soak in the quiet and reenergize myself before I start my own stuff for the day.

Little strange things out of the ordinary, like the other day when it was raining and a raindrop splashed directly in my eye, even though it seemed completely impossible at the time. Also I like the night sky, the most beautiful things to look at are stars

we all have our ups and downs in life. When I notice that I am not finding joy in the things I used to, I try to remind myself to have a positive attitude, and have self-affirming thougths. I also try to be patient with myself, and try to understand why I feel the way I do, or try my best to not displace my negative emotions on others. Each day before I go to sleep, I pray to God, so that he may give me strength, help me heal in any hurts I have, let me be loving and caring toward others, and help me live one day at a time. When I wake up, I remind myself that I will make the best out of my day, and will live it just one day at a time and not overwhelm myself with over worrying about bad things that might happen or try not to dwell on things from the past. I also try to pay attention to the things that give me strength and joy. I love nature, so I may notice a beautiful tree and that helps me feel good. Try doing things that make you feel happy, try to remember what you used to find so much joy in doing before...I love to write, paint, and take some walks by the beach, I love the sunset and nature walks and when I get a chance to do that I truly enjoy that. Be patient with yourself, allow yourself to get plenty of rest, eat healty, exercise (to relieve any stress), and make sure to get plenty of sleep. I was not doing very well on most of what I just mentioned, and as soon as I began to have a regular sleeping schedule, I began to feel better, and off course eating healthy and exercising helped a lot. Perhaps, you may find yourself lacking energey, make sure you are taking vitamins they help too :)

Good luck
I hope this helps
and hope you begin to take enjoy the beautiful things that life has to offer

p.s. if this does not help, think about how fortunate and bless you are to be able to do things that other people may not

I maintain a conscious contact with the God of my (mis)understanding.

Or to put it simply, I say little prayers whenever I can.

Good luck.
