I have to agree with you. I love California. Why? 3 reasons.
1. Great Temperature every single day and usually it's 70 and sunny.
2. All the celebrities live there.
3. There are tons of events to do in California including spending time at the beach.

In spite of it's insane cost of living and ridiculously corrupt government, California is still the only place for me.
Beaches, deserts, plains, mountains, trees, vineyards, orchards, and superficial crackpot celebrities....we've got it all!

Florida - bad driving seniors and great weather all year round. So you have lots to laugh at - great early bird specials and can have fun in the sun all year.
