Do you love listening to the rain?

Question

I like it because I think it's soothing and beautiful to watch. Sometimes it makes me want to curl up with some tea. It's also nice to walk around in with your boyfriend/girlfriend. What do you think?

My Great-Grandmother used to tell me when I was little that rain were the tears of the Angel's crying for all the bad things humans had done. And the sunshine was God's smile to us. But I used to tell her that I thought the rain was beautiful... that the Angel's tears rain washed away all the bad things. (I was only 7 so what do you expect??? {smiling})

So yes, I love listening to the rain. I can sit and crochet and look out the window at the trees as the rain drips through the leaves creating pictures through each drop... just beautiful... and the rain creates its own kind of music too...

I think it's one of the most soothing sounds in the world. Yet when it get's really going as in a storm, that's cool too because (hopefully) you're inside feeling safe and appreciating the master of Mother Nature. Rain is I think the closest thing you can experience next to be in your mother's womb. I LOVE IT!

Yes I love the sound of rain. I like the 30 seconds to mars song "was it a dream" because it starts and ends with rain.

Ooh, I love the rain. Especially because I live in a pretty dry area. I like the cool weather and the feel of rain every once in a while. I like walking in it, too. It makes me feel like I want to stay inside and talk with my family while eating.

Yes, there is something soothing about it, like when you're inside and warm, while it's raining and cold outside. It just makes you appreciate being comfortable and inside, if that makes sense...And it does make a beautiful sound. You can close your eyes and see memories related to rain and such, things like that....;)

I like listening to the rain, espically with the window open, or standing on a porch (but not getting wet). But I do not like getting soaking wet by the rain (that's why I have my raincoat and my umbrella in my closet)

I love reading Edgar A. Poe by candlelight and drinking a bad...BAD wine during a good rain storm; adds atmosphere to a good Poe story.

Temperature: Anything cold.
Weather: Storm or typical Rain.
Beverage: Hot Chocolate or Warm Tea.
Activity: Snuggling. ^-^
