it all depends on who you ask. I say bring the troops home now, they have done their job. I'm sure the Iraqies would agree with me but have a completely different answer than Bush. And, I have to say that victory has yet to be defined on what IT looks like by this administration. So far, we haven't heard anything that has been sincere, honest or transparent for an answer. We've heard alot of allusive answers from the Bush adminstration that have absolutely nothing to do with anything. A victory is only going to be obtained when we get our military out of Iraq and the Iraqies decide for themselves how they want to govern their country and deal with their own natural resources. Until then, no one is going to win if occupation is forced down their throats along with an oil deal in which the American oil corporations get 80% of the wells in Iraq. If this happens, there will eventually be serious blowback down the road as we have seen with other countries after decades of U.S and CIA involvement and dirty covert operations.

i think of the victory replaced into struggling with an Al-Qaeda takeover, and ending sectarian violence. Al-Qaeda in Iraq is in certainty destroyed, and there ultimately seems to be some degree of peace between the Iraqi government and the Sadrists. Now, we can gradually draw down our troop stages. we've in certainty already carried out this victory. that may not WW2. we're not celebrating VJ day with parades in the streets. we are quietly making waiting to bypass away.

Getting the "divvy up the oil" law that has been drafted, passed in Iraq, so the USA will acknowledge it as a full fledged democracy.

Oh you were asking the neocons....
A road paved in gold with happy little Iraqi children with Bibles in their hands skipping down it with smiles on their faces, and a cloud never in the sky. rainbows on every horizon, and tulips blooming all year round.
The sent of burnt flesh gone and replaced with fresh-baked cinnamon roll smell.
Every man woman and child happy, with no hard feelings that a USA bomb landed on their home and their families.
Basically an Iraq version "Leave it to Beaver"

Re-establishing Iraqi sovereignty. The only way to do that is to leave. The Iraqi people are killing Al Qaeda in Iraq without our useless interference. We have a bad habit of killing the wrong people.

When we leave.

60 years later we are still not out of Japan.

WTF is up with that?

At this rate, we'll occupy the world.

Wait, we already are, we have a military presence in 135 countries.

We are the worlds self appointed police.

Is it any wonder why we are so hated?

Peace

Jim
