Well, I just got finished reading all the answers plus giving a thumbs down to everyone who said men or women. It is about equal really. Just depends on how you look at things.
Women go on about child birth and carrying a child for 9 months, but in truth, once you are done carrying the child for 9 months, the man has to carry the child for 18 years or more. LOL Sad but true joke. Yes, sometimes the woman helps with that fact. Not always. Plus men do die at least 5 years younger then women, those numbers do not lie so it proves that women have it easier then men in the long haul. Taking that into consideration, it balances out the 9 months and child birthing and cramps problems for women.
Just my 2 cents.

Biologically researchers claim that men and women should have the same lifespan. But on average, men die about 5 years earlier that women do. Assuming thew first thought to be true, this would idicate that that a man's lifestyle is more taxing. I know there are exceptions, but as a generalization, the numbers tell the story.

Men and Women are supposed to be created equal. However, on average men tend to be the major breadwinners, and therefore may have problems in the area of money and providing finacial security for the family. Women tend to be the caregivers of the family and that job is equally as inporntant as the financial aspect. I believe men and women have an equally easy, or difficult time at some points in their life.

Don't try to generalize. Some men have an easy life and some women have an easy life.. But you need to say easier than what.

Depends, in Europe probably men. In the US???
Women can get welfare through having children, men receive no such welfare and therefor need to turn to crime. 1 in 108 men turn to crime while 1 in every 1538 women turn to crime. I definitely believe this is a correlation between the ease at which women can get welfare benefits and their incarceration rate.
So poor males in the US have the shaft. Wealthy males do quite well/

Men have an easier life since seemingly our roles in life are much better defined. All men know that they are supposed to provide for themselves and their families. Men also are without much of the emotional roller coaster that the fairer sex seems to possess -- which is to say that ignorance is indeed bliss!

Men. Women have periods. Women are emotional all the time. Women have to give birth! Women have to spend hours to get ready to live up to the expectations of todays society. If we don't look like we're straight out of a high fashion magazine we're not pretty. Men don't have any of that to worry about.

neither they both have their own set of problems. Different but either way life is just as difficult. I'll say that is true in any civilized culture. But in other countries women are opressed, and lack freedoms. Seriously men have social pressures and stereotyping that society expects us to adhere to, we have out own pains, our own responsibilities.
