Gosh, Sharon Tate and several others. I'll have to check. I'll estimate 6, but I don't know how you want to count the baby. I'll have to come back with a link and an edit.
I hadn't thought of them in ages. What brings the subject up now?
Edit "Tate was murdered, along with four others, by followers of Charles Manson at her Benedict Canyon home. She was eight and a half months pregnant." Sharon, the baby, and 4 others. That is six. And the posters who said the followers, not Manson himself, did the murders are correct.

Manson is actually believed not to have committed any murders himself, but he incited "the family" to murder.
"The first murder by the family was of Gary Hinman, a Los Angeles drug dealer and musician. His body was discovered on 1969-JUL-31.
The first series of mass murders, called the "Tate" homicides, occurred at the home of Sharon (Tate) Polanski on 1969-AUG-9. Three victims were shot and/or stabbed multiple times on the grounds of the estate. These were Abigail Folger, Steven Parent and Voiytek Frykowski. Sharon Polanski and Jay Sebring were murdered inside the house. Sharon, 8 months pregnant at the time, died from numerous stab wounds, five of which were by themselves fatal; Jay died of blood loss. Both had their necks loosely attached by a single rope over a rafter.
The next homicides, called the "LaBianca murders," occurred two days later in the home of Leno and Rosemary LaBianca. They were found stabbed to death with dozens of wounds.
Finally, Donald Shea was murdered. He was a former stuntman and hired hand at the Spahn Ranch."
So in total there were 9 murders and the death of Sharon Tate's baby in utero.

No one knows for sure. He or his "family" were convicted of six murders, 5 at the Tate Mansion and 2 at the LaBianco family. But police are certain he is responsible for at least two more and strongly suspect that he killed several others through the course of his miserable life.
One of his family made a feeble attempt to assassinate President Ford also.

Only five were killed, if remember correctly. The only reason the story was so sensationalized was because Sharon Tate (the actress) was killed. I don't think Manson himself ever killed anybody.

If memory serves me it was 4. Manson didn't actually do any of the killing, he directed his disciples to do it.
