It's not a qualification, but people tend to stick with what they know, even if what they know isn't great. "Better the evil you know, than the evil you don't." So, because of the familiarity, they get elected.

Nope, they aren't.

But then exactly what are the qualifications to be president ?

Most consider being a former Governor to be such a qualification.

You would have to consider being mayor of the largest city a qualification, since it's budget is larger than many states.

Serving as a Senator, is usually considered such a qualification.

If you look back in history,

What qualifications did alot of out presidents have ?

Esienhower had never held any public office.
Kennedy was a junior senator
Johnson did have a long history of elected office.
Nixon had a long history of elected office, including as VP.
Carter had two terms as Georgia Governor.
Reagan has two terms as California Governor.
Bush had congressional, ambassadorial, cabnet and VP
Clinton had two terms as Governor of Arkansas.
G.W. Bush had two terms as Governor of Texas

Out of all on that list, Nixon and H.W. Bush had the most relvant experience.

Hillary Clinton is an unscrupulous, ruthless and divisive woman who has money from her family and henchmen from decades of deeply entrenched political connections.
She will attempt to buy the presidency with the willing aid of a liberal press. all obvious and easily provable.
In 1968, she and her husband were members of the communitarian party. (even before they met.)
Her husband was a simpleton who did pretty much as she instructed. for this he got an honorary doctorate.
If not for her husband, she would have had to build notoriety on her own merits. This would have exposed her too soon, and she would have been a political wash long ago.
But as they say, 'it ain't over till the fat lady sings."
Please pardon my exasperation, but this woman is truly despicable.
