Safe to wash your face with the same bar of soap you used to wash your butt with?

I don't think so. All the bacteria from your butt gets on the soap and is transferred to your face. You should buy some face wash, or liquid body wash.

It may or may not be, although this has absolutely nothing at all to do with sanitary hygiene and more to do with skin quality.

You get more bacteria on your face by rubbing your nose after opening the door to the bathroom than by using a bar of soap on your face and your rear, and I'm certain there has never, in the history of weird ways to make yourself feel like a long lay-down, been reported an incident of people getting ill after washing their mug with the same soap/cloth as their bum.

You might have different skin needs on both areas, though-- a sensitive face, perhaps. Although in my experience, many people have the same skin problems on their faces as they do their behinds-- acne being only one of these.

In summation, it's perfectly okay!

If you are using the bar of soap directly on your butt [and not say, creating a lather and cleaning with your washer or hands] then I would not use the same bar of soap unless you rinse the bar thoroughly.

In any case you shouldn't really wash your face with soap, just rinse with water or clean with something gentle like Cetaphil.

if you rinse the soap, yes. Most people wash their face in the shower, and hopefully they are also washing their butts, but there has not been an epidemic of any kind of disease as a result.

I think that you should use a diffrent a soap for your face more like a cleaning astrigent like clean and clear instead beause using the same soap is spreading bacteria.
