Not to be rude, but either you must be young or living under a rock. How could you not hear of Black Friday...lol. Yes, all stores will be very crowded. The past few years, there has always been some sort of major incident. For example, WalMart had really cheap computers a few years ago and there was a stampede...I think it happened in Florida. Most stores open at 6 a.m. and people wait outside. But I've noticed that stores now are opening even earlier. I am not even going to leave my home. THere is going to be sales all through december. I am simply not one to get up early. I'm lucky I can make it to work by 9:00 a.m., let alone to a 6:00 a.m. sale. I also hate crowds. I get panic attacks when there are a lot of people. Good luck.

Every store will be crowded on Black Friday. As for what stores have sales, pick up a copy of the Thanksgiving edition of your local newspaper, there will be tons of ads from all the stores in your area with what sales they are having. A lot of stores will have sales that last for certain early hours. If you want to avoid the crowds, I recommend looking at all of the ads for the stores you want to go to and see if there are hours where there would likely be more people, and go a little later. For example, if Best Buy has iPods on sale from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m., it may be best to arrive there at 7 a.m. if you don't want an iPod and don't want the crowds.

OMG! I can't believe you never heard of black friday. I used to shop when I was 4 knowing what it was. Almost EVERY store has awesome sales. But, prepare to spend MUCHO time in line and getting annoyed with people easily. Target usually has a super awesome sale! Make sure you get up UBER early. Last year I was up and out before 6am!!!! This year...gonne try to do the same!!! =)

Where've you been? Thanksgiving happens every year. The day after is Black Friday. I suggest you get up before the crack of dawn because people will be waiting outside of the stores then to get in. People will run you over and be willing to fight for the last item to save a buck. I ain't going. Too damn early and it's so against the meaning of the season. If you do partake, do so at your own risk.

In a word... No, you can not put things on hold for Black Friday. Its first come, first grab, first buy. Otherwise there would be no incentive for people to wake up early and get there in a rush in their pajamas.
