Absolutely, and have throughout the years we lived in Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina and Texas. For things like steaks, boneless chicken breasts, pork chop and burgers we especially like to use the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com in winter. Enter the details about what you're grilling and it gives instructions for when to put on and turn things so that everything comes off the grill at the same time. It also has adjustments for the outside temperature, and cuts down on the trips out into the cold to check on things.

Winter grilling... burr... yum!

Sis,

I cook on the grill all of the time! Very little mess & only a few utensils to clean up afterwards (I hate doing the dishes). I BBQ all year-long, no matter what climate or where I lived (20 years spent in the Navy had me moving around alot & all over the world, heck we even had a BBQ on the flight deck = that's called a Steel Beach Picnic). U want a BBQ, come over to my house, bring whatever/whoever you want to eat (with LOL) & better make that BYOB as I only have four beers & 3 bottles of wine.

Yeah!, i have been cooking on the beach in winter in the second week in January, for the last 10 years at St Andrews or Arbroath beach BBQing fish and eating Arbraoth smokies, and having a nip of whiskey. I get the beach mostly to myself all 3 and a half miles! the best time is when it is about -5C!

a real grill freak grills year around. I continually have my grill on the waiting. I as quickly as grilled extensive T-bone steaks for the duration of a snowstorm in South Dakota. The snow replaced into blowing sideways and you will desire to no longer see 5 ft away. however the grill labored purely positive (in a sheltered alcove). My neighbor suggested the aroma of grilling steak that seeped into his homestead for the duration of the snowstorm drove him loopy!!!!!!!!! So, choose for IT!!! Heck, i could grill corn flakes if i'd desire to make your ideas up a thank you to stability them on the grill bars! Dave

Nope..I live in apartments and they made us get rid charcoal burning grills. So we have been grill-free for like a year now. I guess they are a fire hazard or something. We would if we had one though.

Sis, that is the best time. The changing of the seasons along with the cooking smell of the food you are cooking. Honestly it is quite Romantic.
