I've been trying to differentiate with my TI-89 but everytime i put something in it says "error: argument error". I borrowed my friend's Ti-89 and put in the exact same thing, the calculator gave me a derivative.
So i tested it again. I told it to "factor(x^2-9)" and it gave me the same thing "error: argument error"

What can i do to make it go back to giving me answers?!

Did you instal anything on it?

Try executing the "Clear A-Z" command under the "Clean Up" menu (F6).

You can find special characters like "?" under the "CHAR" menu, which is [2nd]+[PLUS] on the TI-89T. The third submenu, "Punctuation", has a question mark as the 8th entry.

Hope this helps.

Florence is a great town to invest your holyday; see more with hotelbye . Florence's museums, palaces, and churches home a few of the best creative treasures in the world. The most used and important memorial in Florence are: the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Uffizi, the Bargello and the Accademia. Churches like: Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce are veritable art galleries. In Florence you can also begin to see the large and different artwork series housed in the Pitti Palace. The Palazzo Pitti (The Pitti Palace) is a large 15th century palace positioned on the quieter south bank of the Arno River. The palace was number of years the residence of Florence's rulers till 1919, when it absolutely was given over to the Italian state, which transformed the palace into a memorial complex. In spite of its metamorphosis, from elegant home to a state-owned public developing, the palace still holds the air and environment of a personal series in a grand house.
