STD's are very real. Napoleon and Hitler both had Syphilis, which made them go crazy, because if left untreated it eats away at your brain. There are many STD's out there that can cause all kinds of problems if untreated, even kill you like AIDS.
They are not a scare tactic in any way. I always say there should be no excuse for teenage pregnancy in today's world, because they all should be smart enough to use condoms to protect themselves from STD's. But kids think they are invincible, and have an "It won't happen to me" mentality, but if you are not careful, it will happen to you, so you should be scared.
Stay away from sex until you get yourself thoroughly educated on the subject, including STD's, and how you get pregnant.

What!?!?! Come on. Of course there is a real chance of getting an STD. It's a pretty high one too. Not all STDs are curable either.

If it wasn't real there would not be fully staffed std clinics and the places would shut down!
Ask a real std doc if its real...I'm sure he / she would let you know!!!!

Gonorrhea, follows right behind HIV-AIDS, and then every guys favorite Syphilis. Women who get Chlamydia know it is painful. Just think, every time, you are with anyone, you are with everyone-everybody else has shared too! Think about that!
