I 've been skateboarding for like 8 months, i can ollie, manual and im working on my kickflip, I dress up normally, i mean i wear a volcom t shirt with jeans and globe shoes or an element t shirt and jeans and fallen shoes..whatever..
but my probem is that my mom and my sister are telling me to change because i ll never make friends like this( i have some skater friends though) they told me that i need to wear some girly clothes. I am not making fun of girly clothes but i just don't feel comfortable wearing them. so what am i suppose to do? should i please them or should stay like the way i am ( a crazy skater chick?)
Thanks dudes!

OH NO THE HECK THEY DIDN'T I AM A TOMBOY AND A SKATER. I can't believe it I have plenty of friends! Tell them that it's your style and that you aren't one of those dumb girly girly ms. perfect chicks that are in denile! Tell them that it's your style and you can be who you want and this does not affect much of your reputation. I dress like a dude and my parents love it, and only tomboys are in my advanced class, so they think it really effects my grade, too because I am not worried about fashion. I am right by your side and they can't tell you what to wear

I know what you mean. Im kind of a tomboy myself. Who cares what your family tells you. If you like to dress like that, then go ahead. Yes, you will make friends. Trust me, I have awsome friends! And I dress like a tomboy. So thats no excuse. Its just part of your personality. Dont let anyone change it. Good Luck!

Something you never grow out of is family. Sometimes, they never want to see you as you are, they just see you as falling short of their expectations. Continue what you're doing. Don't let their criticisms bother you. Family is important, i won't deny that, but it's more important that you be who you're comfortable with. They'll love you anyway.

its your life. as long as you are not doing anything illegal your family should not try to change you. making friends has nothing to do with how you dress. it's your personality that makes friends. stay the way you are and be yourself. if you change because they tell you to change then you will be miserable.
