It's always better to use unscented products. Scented tampons may cause an irritation and may increase the chance of Toxic shock syndrome associated with tampon use. Your period should not smell too badly where others would notice. If you do have a very strong odor then talk to your doctor. He/She may be able to offer advice to improve it.

I would think that it would cause problem due to the scents, It can throw off your ph balance inthe vagina, It is also like bring ing in more bacteria than your body naturally produces which can in turn give yor a bacterial infection...Also, the scents can give you a yeast infection... Women are supposeds to wear cotton panties, unscented panty liners, pads, tampons and unscented soaps.
I highly reccommend that you consult your doctor before using anything scented in such a precious place.

Yes there are. Many women can use scented tampons for a few years and be just fine. But usually after you use them for a while you willl get sore and they can start causing problems.

I have never had an obgyn or doctor who recommended them. Scent on internal protection is unnecessary. Nothing starts to smell until the air hits it. In fact, I wouldn't use anything but organic cotton. The area is very sensitive.

From a male and former salesrep for the largest manufacturer of these products. They are tested thousands of times before they hit the market. If any problems show up, corrections are made. Manufacturers cannot tolerate another Rely. I was involved in that and it was not pretty. Bottom line, you should have no problems with scented.
