Theoretically, in the US legal system you can't be retried for something once you have been deemed not guilty, no matter what kind of evidence happens to surface aftewards. It's called "double jeopardy" (there was a movie by the same name many years ago...but I never saw it so i don't know exactly what it covers)
anyway, allowing people to be retried over and over again should not be acceptable in any case, with any evidence, because once it happens to one person, then someone has the ability to decide that it is acceptable to do to other people. if this were to happen you could be dragged through the legal system multiple times by an unethical prosecutor just looking for a conviction. subsequent trials could not possibly be fair because by that time many more people will be aware of the situation and have personal biases. Witnesses will not be as reliable because memories inevitably become hazier over time.
so no, I don't think he should go to jail simply for "past sins" even if he did get away with murder. He should pay for current "sins"

Unfortunately, he can't go to jail for past sins. However, set up or not, I hope he rots in jail for what he did in Las Vegas if only as payback. He is evil incarnate.

He was not set up and told to use the words he used. He deserves to be punished for the Las Vegas debockle if he is found guilty.

First of all, even if he WAS set up, he displayed profound criminal stupidity. If you think someone has your stuff, you round up a posse of ARMED guys and then pretend you didn't know they had guns? Riiight. O.J. seems to think that since he got away with a double murder, he's immune from showing the common sense not to do stupid crap like this.

Set-up? REad the facts. Was he set up when he killed his wife and a friend that was returning her glasses? Does someone have a conspiracy against him? and he is just being persecuted and prosecuted for nothing at all? Best scenario, OJ gets his due and should be sitting in jail for a long ,long time= eternity. Although I doubt that is enough punishment for the harm and hurt he brought into other peoples lives

O.J. did commit burglary, even if the items were his, cause he did the wrong approach, if he is convicted it will not be for his past sins and it will not be for the Nicole Simpson/Ron Goldman murders, it will be for the burglary itself.

No, he should go to the gas chamber for double homicide. The murder trial was a sham, orchestrated to prevent a replay of the rodney king riots in LA. And to think that we once liked OJ as a football player and movie actor......

He thinks he's above the law. I hope he rots in jail. Aside from Nicole Brown making poor decisions, she was fine as hell! That's an extra charge added to the murder.

The most important thing here is respect for the law, people like OJ come and go but the law should be constant. Punishing someone just to get even is not good for the law.
