My Friend is using Meliane for the first time, she is having a bit of confusion regarding it sdosage.
Does she start her first tablet on the 1st day of menstrual period and then continue taking tablets throughout the
period days. when the 1st pack finishes then she takes 7 days tab-free break?
OR
She takes her 1st tablet on the 1st day of her menstrual period and then gives a 7 days
tab-free break and after that takes the pills daily when her period ends?
Kindly advice which of these is ideal dosage requirement, as she'll be using meliane
for the 1st time.Thank You to all who answer.

With most birth control pills the time to start taking it is the first day after the period has ended but I would recommend that your friend check with her physician for further clarification on instruction as to when to start taking it.
