Why don't people like Abercrombie?

Question

I personally love it! I am an 12 year girl and im in 7th grade, and I dont see why everyone doesnt like it. Yes, it is verry pricey, but so is Limited Too. Im really short, and It fits perfectly! I think they have the cutest pjs and clothes and everything! But thats just my opion, Any comments?

gurl, im 16 and in the 10th grade and i still wear Limited Too and Abercrombie!!!! i agree with you! i luv their stuff and when they have a sale, its much better. but i like the styles and variety at both stores. i love everything there. actually, like half of my closet are from their stores! crazy, arent i? LOL.

Because that's what all the preps wear and I personally hate preps. It is pricey, but I don't like Limited Too. Why get a shirt that just says Abercrombie that's like 30 dollars when you can get a really cute shirt for 20 dollars. In my opinion, sometimes people just get clothes like that to be popular or to fit in, but being yourself and wearing what you like will get you better friends that don't breathe preps clothes and boys.

you know i wear abercrombie hollister and all those other brands. but one i'm 17, and one thing that really pisses off everyone whos 15-25 is when 10-12 year old girls become obsessed with the idea of owning everythng that is abercrombie cause it will make them "cool" and thats when they brag about and nonstop talk about and post WEIRD questiosn about it. WHY do u care about whether or not people like abercrombie or not? u dont see people posting WHY dont u like walmart or WHY dont u liek ross or WHY dont u like hot topic. u cant make everyone like abercrombie little girl. now go work on your fractions.

It's so "mass produced." Having a good sense of style doesn't mean you dress like every body else does in the way; it means being a little edgy, and unique.

Abercrombie to me just sells an image for everyone to follow, a portrait of cool that in reality defies the definition of being cool.

they unfortunately are not very good at carrying sizes over 10. I am a size 12 and got tired of never finding my size in ANYTHING. it made me very depressed.

I also don't think their clothing is appropriate for me, a woman in my 30s. i think for junior high and high school age people it is just fine. although for the price you are willing to spend, you aren't getting very nice quality. For that stuff, I would rather shop at gap or old navy and not get the name plastered on it.

Well I've heard from some people that A & F is expensive and it is somewhat from what I've seen myself. I personally don't shop there because it's not really my taste. However, I don't mind American Eagle. I also heard from someone that they are racist and look down on people sometimes. I haven't experienced that but that is what I heard.

because it's super expensive and nothing special. you are paying money to be "popular", and for a name. why would you want to wear the same clothes as everyone else? you can buy nice clothes anywhere, they are all made by 10 year olds in a 3rd world country for 3 cents a day anyay.

I only wear Abercrom. I like the way the t-shirts fall off my chest when I walk.

i agree. i absolutely love a&f. i think some people dont like it because it costs too much and they cant afford it. or they dont like the style of the clothes. also people might not like it because wearing abercrombie and hollister usually catagorize you into a group...preppy.

Maybe because we aren't all rich like you. And people who wear Abercrombie wear it just so they will be cool. I hate AE, Hollister, and all that crap.
