My friend and i were talking about the mafia and hitmen (I don't even know why) but we were. and we wanted to know if you can get in serious trouble for hiring a hitman? like obviously there is gonna be some trouble but do you get in the same amount of trouble as the actual hitman if he or she gets caught?
Obviously we don't wanna go hire one or anything but i really wanna know now.

You would be convicted of conspiracy to commit murder...the penalty is the same

Basically it's the same penalty as killing someone yourself.
