like 3 and 4 and 6. Is it because I went back and voted for some of my own answers for best answer and because they are so old I have to split the points with someone else if they got votes too? That is my only explanation.

if someone gives you a star or a thumbs up on a previous best answer then you get a point.
it happens quite a lot....

U vote for an answer that is under voting-1...U get two for answering a question...3- for resolving ur own ...look under the points amount in ur profile:)

The numbers are are correct for when you went to that particular page the first time. It appears you are getting free points but you are not.
