A really close friend of mine came over today and told me that her ex boyfriend... which was MY boyfriend's friend at the time but not anymore told her about 2 months ago that my boyfriend introduced "his new girlfriend" to him ( that obviously wasnt me) to her ex. so her ex asked my boyfriend that what happened with me... and my boyfriend said it wasnt working out.....but how can that be if we were still together? so that only means he was cheating on me with the suppose girl he introduced...and i dont know if i should believe this....what should i do please help should i ask my boyfriend if this is true......?

how about you ask her ex before you ask your boyfriend. if they aren't friends anymore, he might be lying. once you've found out everyone's telling the truth, say to your boyfriend "so-and-so says you introduced him to your new girlfriend (if you know her name, say her name) because things weren't working out between us. I thought we were fine. is this true?"

I would ask your bf about this. I wouldn't make any rash decision based on pure gossip at this point. He was your friends ex bf and your bf's ex friend. That doesn't sound like a trustworthy source to me.
