Im not saying they suck, they are good but dont you guys think Boston is way to overrated? i mean look at yahoo main NBA page, always Boston score updates as THE MAIN NEWS. I mean wtf.. there are other teams and i dont see any team but boston on main news on NBA page. They even made polls if Boston will win champion. BOSTON is WAYY TO OVERRATED. THE LAST 6 TEAMS they beat was no challenge. Even there upcoming games, all easy teams... Look, heres all the hard teams coming up:
DECEMBER 19 - Detroit (DECEMBER 19... a whole freaking month)
They dont play the hard teams until January... thats when they play Detroit,Mavs,Rockets,Utah
Now look at LAkers(using ym fav. team as example) First month:
Houston
Phoenix
Utah
SAN ANTONIO
Houston the next day after SA
then DETROIT
then CHICAGO
then Boston
Denver
Utah next day...
seriously, but BOston in West and they wont go past 4th seed. SA,DAL,PHO,Houston is much better then Boston.

Overrated, overexposed, but they ARE undefeated, and no one's been excited about the C's for a long long time, so that is to be expected. It's a long season, so let's enjoy the competitive drama. The higher they go, the harder they can fall. That's what the media likes to do anyway, build 'em up and then break 'em down the first chance they get. But they're just giving the public what it wants.

Actually, 5 of Boston's 7 games/victories are against last years playoff teams and teams that will be in the playoffs again this year. They were "no challenge" because Boston is destroying them. I agree they will get a real test against Detroit, but they may well be 22-0 by then. However, you're UNDERrating some teams.
Boston's got a very tough game against Orlando coming up. Who does Boston have to match up against a much improved Dwight Howard? Paul Pierce and Rashard Lewis are going to cancel each other out. Jameer Nelson is having himself a nice year. If Boston overlooks them they will lose.
Not to mention Miami coming up tomorrow. Wade's back...that'll be a tough game. They've also got the Kobe and the Lakers and James and the Cavs...so Boston by no means has an easy schedule.
The thing is, they are beating the teams they should beat and beating them badly. Their dismantling of Denver was impressive, because Denver is a good team, and will probably win the West this year. Toronto and the first Jersey game were close, but Boston has won. I don't think you can say they're overrated. If they don't win the East, it'll be because they lost in the Conference Finals to Detroit. I don't think anyone else in the East can beat them in a 7 game series.

You're hearing about them all the time because the rest of the East is in pretty bad shape. Their schedule is a bit easier because they're mostly going to be playing other teams in the East, and especially other teams in their division. Of the other teams in the East, only Chicago (once they get their act together, maybe?) and Detroit pose possible threats to Boston.
I'm no Celtics fan, but they are good, and they don't have much competition. They won't win the championship though because the West is too darn good. It will be interesting to see the results during the regular season when they play the Spurs, the Suns, Houson, etc.

They aren't overrated but I agree they get a little to much attention which may hurt them later in the season. On the overrated part- NO!!! ; KG, Pierce, and Sweet Stroke will handle almost everything. The only thing needed to worry about on that team is bench play. So far they have kept up.
I think the Celtics can beat some big boys out in the west. Also its called a Conference buddy. They don't play western teams until later in the season just as your lakers don't play eastern teams until later. I'm looking forward to see which western conference team will get to the finals and get crushed by the Celtics. I hope it's San Antonio because they are overrated.

Chris you are a f*ck!n Hater. Their not only coming out the east, they're definitely getting the NBA title. All them west teams are not as good as you think. In the finals last year, the Cleveland Cavs were pretty much close with all 4 of those games with San Antonio. And the Boston Celts are a way better team than those Cavs. 4 sure

interior the accepted season, they have the superb checklist against the western convention, exceptionally while they beat the Texas Triangle. First, you have the Rockets checklist of 21-0 get stopped via Celtics. Then, San Antonio exchange into crushed, back, the place the Celts bypass undefeated against them for 3 years now. the only tension int he West who stopped them interior the accepted season have been the squaddies, and Utah. Lakers are puffed up, through fact they are int he West. they could greater healthful greater acceptable in the event that they confronted the Cavs/Pistons/Celtics interior the East, to tutor that each and every person-offense and rapid-wreck factors merely exhibits how a good number of a showboatng basketball is, and much less of a game. The West performs no protection, it particularly is why this is greater "relaxing" to computer screen (different than Spurs, that are considered via haters uninteresting through fact of protection), so the East tries to get a shelter on the easily game, extremely than the NBE (Eational Basketball entertainment)
