Because then americans will get even fatter and lazier...it's bad enough McDonald's even exists.
And you say you're not fat, but if you keep eating McDonald's all the time like you are now, eventually you will be fat. And just because you're not fat doesn't mean you're healthy...your arteries are probably clogged already

Because they're fast food, not delivery. I have never seen a fast food restaurant that delivers. They just don't. I guess it's that kind of specialty. Okay, if you wanted a logical standpoint, here it is: they can afford to, sure. But is it service that many people would take advantage of? Probably not. The truth is, by the time it's all said and done, they probably lose more money off of delivery than they do the gas to power the car that brings it, because, let's be honest, why the heck would you want a two dollar burger delivered when you can go pick it up yourself from a place that's less than two miles away? It just wouldn't make any money, and trust me, it works well for pizza, but when all is said and done, those places need separate places to deliver which barely cover their own costs. It's not a matter of convenience in a business like that. It's a matter of money. And it wouldn't work out very well. In brief, the only reason that pizza chains do it is because there is 1) a very definite demand for pizza delivery, and 2) they can afford the losses because of other products that get sold. But there is not a reasonable enough demand, since the people are used to going to get their food on their lunch hour (and that's what underlings are for). Anyhow, I could figure out all this from a purely logical standpoint, and if you thought about long enough, I'm sure you would agree with me. But, inevitably, that kind of business comes down to supply and demand... and there's just not enough demand.

Well, it's just not profitable for them to do so. That's pretty much all it comes down to. And I don't think people should be picking on you for eating it or for asking this question. It's a valid question.
Although even if they did deliver, you'd still be out of luck with the nearest one so far away... Most places that deliver will only deliver within the town/area they're located.

There are two major reasons McD's won't deliver. First, the menu. Burgers and fries are hardly a decent meal. A pizza or Chinese is much more filling. Second, and perhaps more importantly, there are too many McD's. Think about it. There are not nearly as many Domino's or Chinese restaurants as there are McD's. A McD is a place where someone (usually) pulls in impulsively, when he/she sees one. And you can only do that when there zillions of them. However, if McD's changed its menu (to be like Subway's or Pizza Hut's) and if it was located in a town where there was only one McD's, probably it would get delivery orders.

overall, mcdonald's is too inexpensive to deliver. while pizza places usually have a seven -ten dollar minimum order, most meals at mcdonald's are under seven. also, burger and fries don't wait well, if that makes sense. in the thirty minutes it takes to get the food to you, it would be soggy and disgusting.

it depends...mcdonalds can be personally owned or works under a corporation. a corporate mcdonalds will not deliver. a personal owned mcdonalds may deliver or you might see things in it that you will not see in a corporate mcdonalds. like pizza! i went to see my brother graduate from the army and seen a personal owned mcdonalds selling pizza!! very strange..

Well because I'm guessing that they're kinda lazy plus a lot of teenagers go to fast food restaurants for jobs which most teenagers cannot drive.

My pizza is usually cold by the time it gets here, I couldn't imagine how nasty 30 minute old french fries would be...
