How many of you are familiar with the Bee Gees early early period from about 1966-1971?
If so whats your favorite songs from that period?
Do you think it was their best period of music?

Words is my favorite.
Their older stuff actually sounded better when they sang live in Vegas back in the 90's. That One Night Only cd is the best!!
I cant believe I finally saw a Bee Gees topic on here. Best singer/songwriters of all time!

Memories of my high school and early college days. My favorites are I Started A Joke, To Love Somebody, and How Do You Mend A Broken Heart.
Comparing their earliest songs to their later ones is almost like comparing apples to oranges. I loved their disco era repertoire just as much, it was a completely different style.
