You may find some place that you would enjoy giving your money to. In general the same merchandise will be there but usually at a much higher price on the rest of the season's days.

Odds are that every retailer participates in that. It's a money maker for them, and what with the low projections for the holiday season the experts are giving, I would have to guess that they will.
I don't to shopping on that day however. I never did. I hate crowds and throngs of people grabbing at stuff to buy. I feel the same way about the day after Christmas thing. Anything I want will still be there in a day or two because the store generally stocks enough for the entire season.

Stores like HCO and A&F never participate in Black Friday Sales.
Why would they? People still by it no matter if it's on sale or not.
