Good question. Star for you.

I was watching John Denver (singer) on a TV special one evening. He said his life was PERFECT.

This really bugged me as I knew he was going through a divorce at the time. How could his life be PERFECT? How could anyone's life be perfect.

Every so often I would wonder about this. Finally, after several years, it dawned on me. I finally had the answer.

His life wasn't perfect at all. It was the way he perceived his life. It was his attitude. The way he thought and lived his life.

It was at that point in my life that I became a very positive person and have greatly enjoyed life ever since.

The day I spent 6 hrs in E.R. with hoses & wires tapping every limb and being told my First baby was leaving my body at two months preg and then finally hearing the healthy heart beat of this same baby and discovering all the bleeding had stopped after I said a quiet prayer to God that if he would save this baby I would live for him and do my best to raise this baby to know him.

Oh yes! He Rocks!

I've had a few events/persons that changed my life.
The problem is, the change only lasted for a minimal time.
My mind isnt usually open enough for change and/or I revert back to the old thoughts/life.
I still wait for the true change.

My grandmother changed my life when I was 8 years old. From her, I learned compassion for others. She was an incredible woman! She always saw the best in me and by example, showed me the kind of I wanted to be someday.

I saw Rick Allen live playing the drums! He is the drummer of Def Leppard. The guy have only one arm. He lost the other one in a terrible car accident. When I saw him I changed. I said... God if he can do anything I am sure I can do more.

my dad...he passed away about a year ago. he got sober 3 months before that and lived more in that 3 months than he had in probably 10 years while he was drinking. he showed me how to really appreciate life and realize that it's never too late to make things right.

My son. I was abused as a child, didn't love myself, drank, stole and was angry at everyone. I was told I couldnt have kids which added to my depression. I fell in love with a kind man and became pregnant. he was born at 1 lb 14 oz and changed my world. He is now 12 and gifted, so kind and loving, a face of God's love.

He taught me how to love, to have faith in humanity, to restore faith in God, to believe in myself. I am happy, don't do things of the past...I am on this earth, alive and blessed because of my beautiful baby boy.

She and I wrote to each other for two years (She in Wales UK and i here in Australia - my photo is the first photo of me i sent to her in 1973) then we met. 8 Days later after traveling half way across Australia we decided to marry. This we did 5 months later and now 32 years later we are as strong as the first time of love at first sight for both of us!
